This gentleman does not know a whole lot about either U.S. or China, socially or job-wise. Having a Yale degree, plus real world experience at a top-notch US firm/company may say something about your past when the situation was fairly rosy. However, once the situation gets tough, then things become different and interesting: time for testing people. I just simple wanted to emphasize one point: people are really not that much different in terms of talents, in China or in the U.S.(also meaning where you got your degree or gained your experience really does not mean that much!). The truth is that whenever you take lightly of any person or any situation, that is indeed the time things become interesting!
