我父母是2014年８月左右得到綠卡，2014年９月左右得到MediCAL 白卡, 2019年８月左右州政府發信來要求他們去申請紅藍卡，2019年9月左右得到紅藍卡．

有點不太理解您上麵的解釋. 是的, 父母持有綠卡6年多了，持有白卡６年多，紅藍卡1年多．如果我沒理解錯, 您的意思是說如果綠卡持有超過５年，即使有這個新的"Public charge"的法案，父母在2020年2月２４日法案成立後仍然在用白卡，但因為綠卡持有已經超過５年，不構成public charge ? 這是什麽道理？還是法案中有這種情況的專門說明？
2. 父母現在已經超過 180天沒回美國 了， 如果在一年內回美國，因為這個新的public charge , 他們還可能回美國 ？
-It should be fine to your parents if they got the green card at least five years ago.
So, if somebody legally holds green card more than five years, if they used MediCal, there is NO public charge which can agaist them in the life time, right ?
