急問關於父母綠卡出生證和婚姻公證

去年6月遞交的，一直無消息，這兩天收到通知，要求交兩人的出生和婚姻公證，原文如下
Please submit a certificed copy of the birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority for the applicant ****. ALso submit a certified copy of the marriage certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority for *** and ***. Any foreign language documents must be accompanied by a complete English translation.
在這封信的開頭還有一段小字。A foreign document must be accompanied by a translation in English. The translator must certify that he/she is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.
在我們 去年交的材料中，就和大部分父母一樣，我們就是 交了國內公證處辦的出生公證和英文翻譯，原始結婚證沒有了，就交的公證處辦的婚姻公證和英文翻譯。這種情況我們應該怎麽半呢？是不是因為翻譯是中國的，沒有說明the translator must certify that he/she is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate?隻給了我們幾天的時間來處理，請大家幫忙提提建議
