1）母親黑下來，等到兒子12月份申請公民。假如兒子半年之後拿到公民（大概是明年的這個時候）。然後立刻給母親申請綠卡同時和回美證。盡管母親不可能馬上拿到綠卡，但是回美證會很快收到，就可以回中國了。

2）母親盡快回中國去，不黑下來。等到兒子明年一切順利拿到公民。可以給母親申請綠卡，（但是母親那個時候在中國），母親的綠卡申請回比她人在美國申請時候慢很多。而且兒子不可能給在中國的母親申請回美證。

在中國的母親一旦等兒子遞交了親屬移民申請，也無法再申請探親簽證（B2)。所以母親需要在中國等到綠卡批準才能再回到美國來。
3）明年兒子拿到公民後，母親先去申請探親簽證，然後來到美國後再由兒子提出綠卡申請.
