Fingerprint for Canada immigra

The second letter required me to obtain blank fingerprint forms from FBI. I wrote to FBI. After waiting for three weeks, I couldn't wait any more. I went to the local police office to have my fingerprint done. The stupid blank FBI fingerprint form just mailed to me. It took seven weeks! My question is: Are there any differences between the FBI and local police fingerprint card? Does it also work? I got my sencod letter at the end of August. I wasted so much time waiting for that stupid FBI form. I mailed out my fingerprint to FBI for no criminal check on September 17. How long should it come back to me? My due day to submit all suplementary materials is in November. I so worry about it. Thank anyone who will let me know.
