請教大師，我老公正在申請EB1-B的綠卡，剛拿到了140，準備申請485。我和孩子們現在在加拿大，我有幾個問題：
1． 我們的孩子剛在加拿大上大學，他們是否要與我老公一起申請485，
-Your children has to be physically present in US to file their I-485 and then, apply for/use Advanced Parole (AP) to travel to Canada (AP can allow them to stay in Canada for less than one year). Another choice is that after your spouse get his green card, he can file I-824 for your children to get the immigration visa in a US Consulate in Canada. The third choice is that after they finish their study in Canada, your children can return to US to file I-485 to get to get their green card within US(this is the best choice for your children if they still need more time to study in Canada).
還是可以等到我老公拿到綠卡後再申請？

他們能否拿到綠卡後繼續在加拿大完成大學學業？
-Yes, but they may need to get the reentry permit (RP) to stay in Canada if they need more time to study in Canada (RP can allow them to stay in Canada for > 1 year < 2 years).
2． 我因有特殊情況想等幾年後拿綠卡，如我想要作為老公的dependent來申請，可以最遲隔多久申請？
-You can file I-485 any time if you are phyically present in US.
有沒有時間限製？
-No.
除了結婚公證，孩子們的出生公證，填寫485，還需要準備其它材料嗎？
