EAD Renewal 如果有gap怎麽辦？

舊的EAD月底到期，新的EAD因為續的比較晚，現在還沒有消息。
請教一下萬一舊卡過期後才拿到新卡，該怎麽辦？是不是提前跟公司的HR聯係，凍結工
作關係？多謝了
