I work in an IT consultanting firm and 我的H1B將在明年 03/2011 到期（六年）， 我申請了 EB2 perm -priority date 06/2007, got I 140 approved, but can't I485 due to “排期”, now I can't find a contract to do but the consultant firm agree to keep my status for a while (pay salary myself )and apply for 3 years H1B extension for me on Dec, 2010
-Don't do that. If USCIS find it out, both you and your employer will be trouble. You just need to ask your employer not to withdraw the approved I-140 so that you can use it to extend your H1 beyond the 6 year H1 limit in the fufure after you find a new job.

I can change my status from H1B to H4.
-This is the best choice for you. So, file the change of status from H1 to H4 before your H1 I-94 expires or before lose your job.

If i will be jobless for a while, should I wait for H1B extension approval then change my status from H1B to H4? Or just change it now?
-Do it now if you will lose job very soon.

If I change to H4 now, can I change back from H4 to H1B if I find a job 0.5-2 years later when economic recover?
-Yes, you can use the left 6 year H1 and then, extend the H1 beyond the 6 year limit using your approved I-140. Then, you can ask your new employer to sponsor your GC and use the priority date of the old I-140.
