How soon can I leave my employer after GC approved

I have been actively interviewing last two months. I don't know when the GC will be approved so I plan to use AC-21 and EAD to work. Now the GC is approved, I find out that in many forums on the internet that it is safer to stay with the sponsoring employer for at least 6 months before moving on. I might have an offer from a company I have been wanting to join next week.

This really frustrates me!! Please advise.
