my h1 did not expire until next year,my son's H4 expire the end of june

1. When your spouse and you are both H-1 holders, do they expire the same time?

2. When your son applied for H-4, based on whose H-1?

3. Check H-4 visa to find visa expiration, if it is the same as one on I-94 (end of June), I would be pretty sure it resulted from CBP's mistake. In this case, take a look at here http://web.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID=immigration&MsgID=325864.

If it is true in above 3, the first 1 & 2 are irrelevant. Otherwise, please carefully check 1 to see H-4 expiration matches any. The point is that H-4 should have an expiration the same as its H-1, which is addressed in 2.
