I wonder whether you can be a bit more detail.

I am confused now about 2 things
1. can my assistance acknowledged in my advisor's papers be treated as 'published material about you in professinal publications. One law firm says yes, the other says no.
2. is my teaching experience qualified as being a judge of the work of peers.

Anyone has similiar experience or suggestions?
