*H-1 cap, OPT6月到期，6-10月GAP怎麽辦！

剛工作，就趕上H-1B CAP截止申請。OPT6月到期，新的H-1申請要到10月才開始生效。請問：
1。是否4月1日交了新的申請，就可以合法居留？但不能工作？
2。6-10月的GAP， 如何有效處理？有否文件可以參考說服老板？
