Please help: Unemployment insurance benefits?

去年我被公司LADOFF， 但通過我老公的綠卡申請我剛剛拿到EAD CARD。我正想從EDD申請拿失業救濟金，但不知道是否屬於拿公共補助，而影響我的綠卡？謝謝大家！
