is this right? xiaobaitu,mytwocents...please help

My 140 was denied on 3/2/06 in NSC. I come to USA in October,2001 with J1 visa. After that, I got J1 Waiver and change to H1B visa in June,2004. I just heard from my friend that the six year for H1 should include the 3 years of J1. Is this right? So my H1 will be expired in June, 2007. I'm so sad, bad news comes togther. Could please help me with some ideas? How should I do now? Thanks for any inputs.
