Hello: I am studying in US and hold a maple card. Currently I am planning to apply for a US green card. When I looked at the 140 form, one question it asks is "what is your last permanent resient country if currently living in US". Since for the majority of the past year except several weeks, I have been living in US instead of Canada, then should I still write down "Canada" there, or maybe I should put "China" there instead?

Another similar question is about the form 485. When it asks "the address in the past five years", should I write down my mailing address in Canada, even though physically I have spent only several weeks last year?

Many thanks in advance!
