這個網站這麽說中國食品,有道理嗎?要不要批判?特別是最後那個綠豆?

Tilapia is a breeding fish that’s commonly found in China. These fish are one the most toxic and unhealthiest species out there and are considered as bottom feeders. A tilapia would eat anything (which is both dangerous and gross!)

You should avoid buying this fish at all costs! Moreover, it is well known that in China seafood producers don’t allow their children to eat these products, which is enough to make you suspicious. What’s worse is that 80% of Tilapia in the US comes from China.

And the fact that they swim in polluted environments and can feed on any possible thing is not quite appealing, while the breeding Cod is no better than the Tilapia. Eating these types of fish is very dangerous, not to say deadly.

#2 – APPLE JUICE

Since Quebec is a major producer of apples, the juice that we find here is mostly local. However, China still exports a lot of processed apple products, especially juice.

This juice is often found in the category of cheap products. Its taste is often similar to a mixture of fruity and acidic flavors because it comes from poor quality fruits. In 2011, Dr. Mehmet Oz reported that apple juice from China contained a very high amount of arsenic.

Moreover, another research published in Consumer Reports magazine showed that 10% of the apple juice we consume exceeds the allowed arsenic levels, in addition to the fact that the arsenic found in these products wasn’t organic, but rather toxic and highly dangerous.

#3 – MUSHROOMS

Chinese mushrooms, mostly canned (about one-third of these canned products from China) or dried, also should be avoided because of the massive use of pesticides. In recent years, several countries have even temporarily banned the importation of these Chinese mushrooms until the problem is resolved.

Tetramethrin, an insecticide used to control the proliferation of insect pests such as cockroaches, is particularly highlighted. This carcinogenic pesticide also causes several severe health problems, such as muscle spasms or breathing difficulties.

#4 – CHINESE GARLIC

It is perhaps the most problematic food on our list because nowadays, the garlic we find in the grocery stores almost always comes from China.

In addition to being produced using large quantities of pesticides, Chinese garlic has the disadvantage of obviously putting more time to arrive here. This means that it is often less fresh, already germinated, and less digestible.

What can we do? Check the provenance and look for local garlic, for example in public markets, even t

hough it is not available all year round.

Don’t hesitate to ask for garlic that does not come from China when you’re grocery shopping; Supermarkets want to meet consumer demand after all. If we are a large number of consumers to require alternatives, local produce might be more available much faster than we think.

#5 – CHICKEN

Eating chicken coming from China can be quite risky. In fact, their flesh is dangerous because these chickens are artificially fattened with chemicals, in addition to being raised in polluted environments.

In China, there are frequent outbreaks of infectious poultry epidemics, whereby breeders give the chicken a lot of antibiotics, which our bodies eventually absorb.

Keep in mind that the healthiest poultry comes from local small organic farms, where the animals are naturally fed and properly cared for!

#6 – RICE

Out of all the Chinese foods, you should avoid Chinese rice the most. It must be excluded from our markets as soon as possible. Sadly, Chinese rice has made a lot of noise lately when it was revealed that it contained too much cadmium, which made it toxic and health-damaging.

From bone malformations and kidney failure to cancers, the presence of cadmium in Chinese rice can be life-threatening or even fatal. Since the consumption of rice is very popular due to the countless benefits of this starch, it’s highly important to avoid the ones coming from the polluted rice fields in China.

#7 – BLACK PEPPER MUD

The dust sold under the name of black pepper does not have much to do with real pepper. It’s all about dust and dirt, literally! When the scam was discovered, the companies responsible for its production were surprisingly not accused of anything since it is not deadly after all.

Try to avoid cheap Chinese black pepper, don’t buy the cheapest brands. Sometimes it’s better to spend a little more money and buy a better product from a safe producer who is not trying to intoxicate you.

#8 – INDUSTRIAL SALT

Industrial salt is unfit for human consumption, yet it has been sold as table salt for 13 years now! Industrial salt can cause both mental and physical problems, leading to hypothyroidism and reproductive disorders as well as increasing your risk of a heart attack.

There are much better salts on the market than basic table salt. For your daily consumption, you should opt for sea salt or Himalayan salt as the best and safest option.

#9 – GREEN PEAS

They are actually made from soy sprouts, green dye, and preservatives. This junk can prevent the absorption of calcium by the body. When these fake peas are cooked, they do not become tender at all, and the water turns green. To avoid unpleasant (green) surprises, always choose a recognized brand or buy your organic peas at the local market!

Some of the imported foods are safe and good to eat when produced under appropriate conditions, but this is not the case in China, where pollution and the use of pesticides are raging. It is, therefore, necessary to verify the origin of all your products, especially the ones on this list, before buying them.
