患者因為嚴重頭痛頭暈耳鳴做MRI。

Study Result
EXAM: MRI BRAIN W WO CONT
INDICATION: Chronic intractable headache, dizziness, reduced hearing, tinnitus
progressive for one year.
TECHNIQUE. Sagittal T1, axial FLAIR, T2, T1 and gradient echo t2-weighted images
of the head were obtained followed by intravenous infusion 13 ml Prohance repeat
axial and coronal t1-weighted images and axial diffusion weighted images
COMPARISON: CT head 2/23/18
FINDINGS
Ventricular size and configuration are normal

No definitive sagging of posterior fossa structures into the foramen magnum

there is a convex upper margin of the pituitary
Therefore, findings of diffuse dural enhancement may be related to spontaneous
intracranial hypotension
No evidence of intraparenchymal hemorrhage, infarct mass or other abnormal
extra-axial fluid collections
Flow voids are present in the vertebral, basilar and carotid artery systems
The craniocervical junction is otherwise unremarkable
The structures of the cranial base including paranasal sinuses are
unremarkable
IMPRESSION
MPRESSION
1. Diffuse dural thickeninglenhancement. This is most commonly related to
spontaneous intracranial CSF hypotension although other etiologies such as
meningitis cannot be excluded.
