What is HDPE?
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is one of the most commonly used plastics in the US, and is typically found in milk jugs, and some types of plastic bottles. It has several properties that make it ideal for outdoor garden products. It is stronger than standard polyethylene, and is resistant to moisture, insects, rot, and chemicals. It is easily recyclable, and creates no harmful emissions during its production or use by the consumer. In addition, it is non-toxic and leaks no toxic chemicals into the soil or water.
