There does not seem to be an efficient way to convert film x ray

It seems that using a camera to recapture the film x rays is one of them.  And then the digital pictures will serve as digital x rays.  But this is easier said than done (resolution, etc.)

Otherwise it takes a special scanner. 

So in case anyone else is wondering about this. 

Also, does anyone know a peridontist in Chicago area?  Thx.  Really appreciate the info.
