I was diagnosed to have venous insufficiency last Oct after my ankle injury. I have no varicose vein, no swelling. No visible sign so far.  My symptoms are heavy, achy legs with burning sensation. Ultrasound reports shows venous reflux.

All varicose vein sufferers have venous reflux. Compression stocking is the first line conservative treatment for venous disease. It does help.

USA Pressure Classes for Compression Stockings

I Mild 15-20 mmHg*) 1.99-2.66 kPa**)
II Moderate 20-30 mmHg 2.66-3.99 kPa
III Strong 30-40 mmHg 3.99-5.32 kPa

Jobst, Juzo, Medi and Sigvaris are the top brands with good quality. Amazon.com has a lot of vendors carrying compression stockings. Right sizing is very important.

Vena Seal is a pretty new procedure. Long term outcome is still unpredicatable. EVLT has been ued for over 10 years. Where are you located?

Clarivein seems tobe used in UK. Laser ( EVLT ) and Radiofrequency are mostly used in the United States.

Exercise - walking, biking and swimming are the best exercise. Elevation is also good.
