In 2013, Jenn Morrone went to the dentist for a root canal. Her dentist didn’t have her wear eye protection. Then the needle used to numb her mouth fell into her eye. Ugh! The bacteria from Jenn’s mouth that was in the needle caused a serious eye infection. Antibiotics and multiple surgeries couldn’t fix the problem; Morrone now wears a prosthetic eye.
Morrone wrote on Facebook, “This was about 3 weeks after my accident, before things really sank in… My youngest daughter wanted me to feel better so she patched her eye to look like mine.”
