My dad's neurosurgeon now insists on two laminoplasty surgeries on the neck area and lower backarea. My dad has trouble walking but has no complaint about arm pain or neck pain. I tried to talk to the surgeon about getting only the lower back surgery, but he can't be swayed. The surgeon also insists on getting the neck surgery done first. Is there any reason neck has to be done first? My dad is only looking for some pain relief while walking, he does not want two surgeries. Anyone with similar experience please advice. 薛成大師?
Please let me know if you want to see the MRI pictures.
Thank you so much!!!
