病人目前的一般情況按ECOG打分為3-4分。具體見下表。
抗腫瘤治療一般在患者ECOG 0-1 時進行。有時可以放寬到2。
可以用中藥支持治療，中西醫結合會更好。有貧血的要輸血，有粒細胞減少/缺乏的要用集落刺激因子，有水、電解質、酸堿失衡的要糾正，有抑鬱的要抗抑鬱治療幫助恢複體力，有感染的要抗感染治療等等。
等一般情況好轉了，再考慮抗腫瘤治療。這裏是Drugs Approved for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma。 應先考慮使用這些藥物/方案，畢竟是臨床試驗證明有效的。pembrolizumab在血液腫瘤的療效還不確定，在實體瘤也不是每種類型效果都好的。
