I'm still alive! I tried Gerson for 11 months.Not helpful-轉貼之二

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I studied the Gerson protocol exclusively when I was on it. I did not go to Mexico but followed the home plan as written.I read and listened to every available video and website including all the food and recipe videos. I took every recommended supplement and B12 shots. I followed the diet exclusively, not deviating from the plan, eating and juicing ONLY organic food. My husband was very supportive throughout. I could not have done it without him. I did the coffee enemas with organic coffee.
I wore out my copy of the book by getting it wet while reading during my hydrogen peroxide supplemented hot baths.I had to dry it with my hair dryer over and over. I charted a huge graph of supplements each day for the entire 11 months. A friend loaned us the $2500 juicer and we also bought the champion juicer recommended as 2nd best. We always used the heavy duty press to get every bit of juice out. I rested as recommended, did extremely limited exercise as recommended and also wore only cotton. I used only natural cleaning products and organic soap and toothpaste. I had all dental work done prior to starting. I have only one mercury filling. All others are porcelain. I used only aspirin as pain killer with certain supplements as recommended.
My feeling after doing it, is that the majority of cancers are able to do an end run around the immune system. Once a certain cancer load is present, there is just not much of a way to boost the system enough to overcome it. The other thing I've learned is that the vegetables used in the juices on Gerson are not the ones shown to have the most effect against breast cancer. The main vegetables in the juice were dark lettuces and carrots. I've read since that onions, cabbage,garlic,broccoli bussels sprouts and cauliflower have the highest effect against breast cancer in a laboratory setting.
Anyway, I told my doctor I'd put as much effort into the standard protocol as I had the Gerson therapy. At least I can't kick myself for doing things halfway!
