It was a totally draining, exhausting and unproductive experience, unless there are things I can't see from a human perspective. My Hubby's dear friend started it a month after me and he passed away 10 months into it. I was admitted into the hospital in much worse condition than before I started. At least I can say I tried. I followed it to the letter. It seems to help some, but I kept waiting for the turn around that didn't come. Started on gemzar 3 months,no change. Now on abraxane with improvement in bone and liver mets for 9 months. I am now choosing between everolimus and palbociclib due to rising Ca15-3. I took zometa for 3 month but had to quit due to a need for dental work. The dentist insisted I had to be off of it for a number of months to do work on a root canal w/o a long zometa break first. I hope everyone is doing well.
