How big is your fibroid? Is it causing you a lot of symptoms? Wha tis the reason that your doctor say to remove the whole uterus. Go to see another doctor for a second opinion if you do not want to have uterus rmoved. He/she might have different options for suregry.  Chinese herbs can help shrink if it is not too big. I have heard 桂枝茯苓丸 is useful for fibrid. Good luck.
