Better go with the brand.

I had the same concerns when I first started my thyroid replacement pills back in 2013. Based on my research, it's better to go with the Brand (Synthroid). The formulation of the generics is slightly different and can therefore make your TSH fluctuate (although insurance companies always say that brand and generic are the same).
