TECHNIQUE: Multiplanar, multisequence imaging of the brain was
performed.
FINDINGS: The midline structures are intact. The craniocervical
junction is intact. There is a partial empty sella which is a normal
variant. Corpus callosum is mildly thinned. Bone marrow signal is
within normal limits. There is no diffusion abnormality. There is
age-appropriate atrophy. There is no abnormal mass, hemorrhage or
midline shift. There is no abnormal extra-axial fluid collection. Old
left cerebellar stroke. Major vascular flow voids are intact.
Visualized orbits and visualized paranasal sinuses are within normal
limits. There are scattered subcortical white matter changes that are
nonspecific.
IMPRESSION:
1. Old left cerebellar stroke.
2. Nonspecific subcortical white matter changes.
