Indication: Past history of positive PPD

Comparison: No prior

Technique: Upright PA and lateral chest

Findings: The heart is normal in size. The aorta is slightly ectatic and partially calcified.

There are scattcrcd granulomata in thc lungs without focal consolidation. Thcrc is mild thc prominent

interstitium, most evident in the left mid and lower lung zones. There is no hilar lymphadenopathy. There is

biapical scarring. The lateral projection shows a compression fracture at the thoracolumbar junction, of uncertain

chronicity.

Impression:

1. No radiographic evidence of active tuberculosis.

2. Compression fracture at the thoracolumbar junction of uncertain chronicity. Clinical correlation is

recommended.
