THYROID ULTRASOUND

The right lobe is 4.2 x 0.9 x 1.6 cm in size and the left lobe is 4.1 x 0.9 x 1.8 cm in size,
mildly enlarged. There is a 1.9 x 1.3 x 0.6 cm well-defined complex cystic nodule
associated with the junction of the left lobe of the thyroid with the isthmus. There is an 8 x 6
x 4 mm well-defined heterogeneously hypoechoic nodule in the mid body of the right lobe of
the thyroid. No other thyroid nodules are seen. There are small morphologically appearring
lymph nodes adjacent to the submandibular glands which correspond with areas of clinical
concern. No other parathyroid masses or cervical lymphadenopathy are seen.


FINAL DIAGNOSIS FROM BIOPSY

Fine Needle Aspirate, left thyroid lobe (at junction with isthums) :

1. Negative for malignancy.
2. Numerous bland follicular cells are present with no cytologic features of
papillary thyroid carcinoma, favor a benign hyperplastic proccess.
3. Scant colloid is noted.


TSH:  0.89

小的結節平時有點脹痛，感覺脖子不舒服。 大的沒什麽感覺。

家庭醫生說沒問題不需要任何治療，也不用見專科，有點不放心，求建議。 另平時飲食方麵要注意些什麽？謝謝大家！
