I found myself has a dominate thyroid nodule 11 years ago -- when my son is only 6 months old, and my hu*****and didn't know how to take care of baby and take care of daily family life...., the FNA turns out to be benign nodule -- but every one knows the FNA result could be false negative, and nodule may keep changing.... my doctor follows up the nodule every 1-2 years, just in case something is not right.  I have been doing lots of reading about thyroid nodules and cancer surgery in North American -- they always take out at least half of thyroid for any cancer.
