I doubt it as the study shows nothing about the synergy of all the nutrients in an egg.
One argument of the book ``In Defense of Food'' was that food is not food anymore;
they are instead nutrients and if you adds the identifiable nutrients up you get the whole food,
or so the reductionist ``researchers'' believe and tell us to believe.
But I think this is bad science which is incomplete at best. A piece of whole food is a
system that includes its parts and the interactions between them, just like a mechanical
system or a computer system, only maybe even more complex.
