Findings: Cardiomediastinal and hilar contours are within normal limits. The cardiac silhouette is normal in size and shape. The trachea is midline. Bilateral lung hyper-expansion. No infiltrate, effusion or pneumothorax. The soft tissues and bony structures demonstrate no acute pathology. S-shaped scoliosis of the thoracic spine. A 1.3 cm nodular density projects over the right lower lung zone.
Impression: Bilateral lung hyper-expansion. S-shaped scoliosis of the thoracic spine. A 1.3 cm nodular density projects over the right lower lung zone, could represent a nipple shadow however a nodule cannot be ruled out. No radiographic evidence of acute pulmonary or pleural pathologic process.
Recommendation: Suggest shallow oblique views with nipple markers.
