there is no benign counterpart for it. Just like some people may call "malignant melanoma", even though there is no "benign melanoma". If it is extrarenal rhadoid tumor, then it is malignant. The tumor has loss of INI1 as suggested by "5678910", but I suspect their lab doesn't have this marker since this is relatively new; in addition, loss of INI1 is not unique for this tumor. So, if the patient was my family member, I would first make sure the case has been reviewed by an expert pathologist in the field. After all, you can't get adequate treatment without a correct diagnosis.
I don't think there is specific chemo regiment for this tumor (though, other oncologists on this forum would know better than me about this). I guess it would be treated as a high grade sarcoma.
