鉛：尚未了結的健康危害：檢查廚房鉛毒的庫存

當我在1997年之前修學【產品賠償法】課時，基於訴訟的狀況，我當時以為鉛已經結束了。我以為 1980 年後銷售的大多數炊具（cookware)都是無鉛的。 30 年後，最近我注意到一些炊具鉛測試結果。根據視頻 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0h0eAvPh48 ，裝飾玻璃炊具通常含有鉛 （而透明的玻璃炊具通常是安全的，但也可含有砷）。該視頻發布於 2023 年 6 月 17 日, 大多數帶有PYREX 徽標的產品通過家庭測試套件可檢測出鉛。視頻提供了一些檢測出鉛的樣例：

這兩的大盤子上的漆很可能含有大量的鉛（設計非常堅固，結構可見）。由於這些大盤子通常不儲存液體，我認為它不會通過偶然接觸濾出大量的鉛。
4. 兩個小碗
小陶瓷碗很可能含有鉛（以及其他有毒物質）。玻璃碗僅在外壁上含裝飾圖案。由於它是裝飾玻璃，因此很可能是至少 40 年前生產的產品。它可能含有鉛和其他有毒物質。

When I studied product liability before 1997, I thought it was over based on the litigation and awareness. I assumed that most product sold after 1980 would be lead free. Thirty years later, I saw a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0h0eAvPh48 and I was shocked to note that some recent lead test results. The video was posted on Jun 17, 2023. Based on the video, decorative glasses and cookware normally contain lead, while clean and transparent glass is normally safe, but occasionally could contain a high level of Arsenic.
MOST of these with the all caps PYREX logo will test positive for Lead with a home test kit. The video provides following examples:
PYreX measure cup USA: Cadmium: 396 ppm (in the red paint)
PYREX a measure cup: (on the blue paint)
Lead 20,700 ppm (over 90 ppm paint is unsafe)
Cadmium: 175 ppm

I can only cite a few examples here. The paints on those exemplar cookware contains lead that exceeds safety limit by up to 2821 times. I was shocked.
Based on this video and other information I have searched from websites, I examined all cookware in my home and identified following suspect cookware.
1. Most of drink cups may have lead-containing paints:
One cup contains a golden rim; the central cup contains decorative picture and the transparent cup may be made before 1980 (most probably have problems). So, I were exposed to lead all those years.
2. Two big beautiful bowls
Both bowls have design images outside. I am not sure if the inner white paint contains lead (white paint could contain lead).
3. Two large plates
The paints on those plates most likely contain a large amount of lead (the designs are very strong with visible structures). Since those plates normally do not store liquid, I would assume it cannot leach out meaningful amount of lead by casual contact.
4. Two small bowls
The small ceramics bowls most probably contain lead (plus other toxic substances). The glass bowl contains decorative image only on the outside walls. Since it is a decorative glass, it is most likely a product made at least 40 years ago. It possibly contains lead and other toxic substances.
I mistakenly thought that the lead problem had been over a long time ago. I was deadly wrong for not paying attention to this problem in several decades. I hope readers will watch for those toxic substances to prevent severe personal injury.
