Microscopic Description
A. Sections demonstrate fragments of benign squamous mucosa
containing scattered lymphocytes. There is prominence of the basal
zone. No intraepithelial eosinophils are seen. No intestinal
metaplasia, dysplasia or malignancy is identified.

B. Sections demonstrate fragments of benign squamous mucosa with a
few scattered lymphocytes. There is mild prominence of the basal
zone. No intraepithelial eosinophils are seen. No intestinal
metaplasia, dysplasia or malignancy is identified.
