Illinois Hospitals ‘Completely Overwhelmed’ By Unvaccinated COVID-19 Patients.

More than 90 percent of people in intensive care units with COVID are unvaccinated and nearly 100 percent of those needing ventilators haven’t gotten their shots, health officials said.

 

Illinois vaccinated rate is 72.6%. That means the 27.4% vaccinated people used 90% of the ICU & close to 100% of the ventilator
