I'm in Sydney, did not know HDs come with instruction CD, maybe the retail shop skipped it to cut cost? MSY is their name and many ppl here know this name in computer parts and system retail. Anyway, here is my way:
Boot as normal, in Windows, use Partition Manager. As I can see it in BIOS and in Device Manager under Windows, I use Partition Manager to format it and partition if you like, then load it ( my one is Chinese version, not sure if the word Load is correct: 裝載 ), the purpose is to give it a drive name, like E:,F:,G:... depending on how many Hard Disks and Partitions you have. Then, I can see it in My Computer and use it of course.
