A small computer company installed a new PC for my sister back in China. It's supposed to have 512MB of ram. However, checking System shows only 480MB. I assume those guys either cheated on this or they probably will say something like "The other 32MB is used as shared video memory."
My question is: if there is a 32MB shared video memory out of 512MB totoal memory, will system show 512MB or 480MB memory?
Thanks.
