I did some research and found out DVI has 5 kinds of connectors( dvi-i dual link, dvi-i single link, dvi-d dual link, dvi-a) i check the female connectors on lcd moniotor and found out it is dvi-d dual link. the one you suggested from ebay sound like a right one becasue it has 24 dvi pins indicating it is a hdmi to dvi-d dual link. The price is great too.
Did the r3700 graphic card ION can handle the this even the hdmi to dvi-d adaptor is righ? I am suspicious because the solution of ps'hdmi connected to hdmi to vga converter connected to vga of minitor did not work out on this acer r3700.
Just for my curiosity, can male dvi-d single link connected to female dvi-d dual link connector?
