I had similar wifi issues with my A1. It worked great at work, but dropped my home wifi every 10-30 seconds. I fixed it by going into settings, wireless & network, wi-fi settings, tap the menu "button", and select Advanced. On this screen I changed Wi-Fi sleep policy to never, filled the check boxes for Use static IP, and filled inthe IP address, gateway, netmask, and DNS1 with info found in my router setup screen (had to log into my route from my pc). Now the A1 no longer drops my wifi connection.
