Your cable modem IP (WAN side) is not the same as your Lenovo A1 IP (LAN side).  If you need static IP on your Lenovo A1 (for your home connection only), you need to modify settings both on your A1 and your router.

Most routers use DHCP (LAN side), which gives an IP address to each connecting device. The IP numbers given to each device could be "first come, first serve". If you set your A1's IP as 192.168.1.2 and it connects OK this time, the next time the router reboot, it may assign 192.168.1.2 to a different device before your A1 connects.

Most likely your router can set aside a few static IPs for several devices and still function as DHCP for others IPs outside the static IP range.
