well, Ghost 8.5 and 10 are quite old, aren't they? Did you try to run them from DOS environment? Later Ghost are running under Windows only with different kind of images that is totally incompatible with previous versions'. Those newer versions are crap.

V8.5 and 10 may have an issue to handle NTFS or larger files. I am running Ghost V11 under DOS to make images from W2K to Win7 with no problems.

Just searched, seems the 2GB limit was for V8.2 before. Um, maybe you want to create DVD image directly? Why not create on Hard Drive instead?
