在 Ubuntu 下看網絡電視 （對不起了麒麟電視）
網上論述安裝的帖子不少，但不是都能WORK，有的則搞得太複雜了，我根據一些原創帖整理簡化成以下步驟，在ubuntu 9。04下測試過可行，大家不妨一試，如果有問題可以回帖我做答複和改動。

1） Ubuntu 下用 Firefox 下載文件：pps-mplayer_install_glibc25.tar.bz2 假設下載到了 /home/me/Desktop/ 目錄下，下一步的命令要根據你的具體目錄名做相應修改

2） 在 Ubuntu 上打開一個終端，執行以下命令：

a. $ mkdir pps

b. $ cd pps

c. $ tar jxvf /home/me/Desktop/pps-mplayer_install_glibc2.5.tar.bz2

d. $ cd pps-mplayer

e. $ sudo ./install.sh

3） 打開 Firefox 瀏覽器

a. 地址欄打入： about:config

b. 選擇 , I will be careful, I promise!

c. 下移頁麵找到 network.protocol-handler.app.apt 一行，點擊鼠標右鍵，選 New ， 再選 String

d. reference name 打入： network.protocol-handler.app.pps

e. String Value 打入： /usr/bin/browser-pps ， 選 OK 退出,大功告成！

4）測試： 瀏覽器進入 kan.pps.tv 網頁

a. 選任一電影、電視，點擊“客戶端播放”按鈕，如果彈出窗口要你選擇播放軟件，你選 /usr/bin/browser-pps, 選擇記住，這樣以後就不會再問你用什麽軟件播放了。

b. Browser-pps 會打開一個終端開始緩衝視頻， 100% 後會打開 Mplayer 播發器放電影，左右鍵可以快進快退，加減鍵可以調音畫同步，空格鍵暫停，沒有播放控製界麵，慢慢學習吧。

5）注意： PPS 並不使用HTTP 80 端口，有防火牆的網絡上可能無法下載影片。Nvidia 顯卡用戶一定要打開Proprietary drivers 以提高性能。（步驟：System -- administration -- hardware drivers: activate proprietary driver from Nvidia）
