Thanks a lot! I have followed your instructions in my system Ubuntu 9.10. I have two problems during the installation. Problem 1: Tar commend doesn't work in my system, but double click the tar.biz2 file, it automatically unzipped.So I can install pps-mplayer. Problem 2: can't find network protocol-handler.app.apt line in Firefox about:config. Then I add two lines according to your figure above. One is "network protocol-handler.app.apt" and the other line is "network protocol-handler.app.pps".Followed by testing with kan.pps.tv, like "can not find player link, ..." message on pop-up Firefox window.Still doesn't work.
I really appreciate your hard works. I just try to use my old computer to play Chinese TV on HDTV, and make wife happy.Otherwise I need buy cheaper PC with Windows to do that.
