Hi,
I just assembled a computer and installed dual boot system (XP64bit + RHEL AS 4.5 32bit). Both systems seem working ok, only I couldn't connect to internet in the linux system (XP is ok). The motherboard is eVGA nForce 680i SLI with onboard LAN interface. I have installed the NVIDIA nForce driver (for RHEL 4 UP4, link: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.21.html) . If I set the system to obtain IP through DHCP, then when linux was booting up and checking eth0, it failed. If I set it to static IP addressing by entering the appropriate IP, gateway, etc., eth0 could pass boot-up check, but Mozilla just couldn't connect to the internet. Since I'm not familiar with network diagnosis or configuration, please tell me what I should do to make this thing work!
Thanks in advance!
