Most, computer makers or not, do the same.
And it is a neutral meainng thing in my opinion, nothing to brag about.
Some customers appreciate the replacement (under the condtion of 未過保修期) while others would complain about the 水貨 in the 1st place.
Going for a brand name, not a model, isn't a good idea to me.
