I wrote an article about my current situation - someone claimed to help me during the period of short of staff after huge layoff but he did not do the real help. Instead, he TOOK OVER all of my projects and projects to be done and tried to redo everything. He screamed at me, verbally abused me for doing my job. I was frustrated for two to three weeks. Consequences of his behavior: every single project he took over was delayed - department missed the holiday sales and acquisition deadline. All the Markerters and upper management knew my part was done on time. He was the one who not just delayed everything, missed our seasonal goal, also he messed up the data due to lack of knowledge of business and technology. Finally, a couple of days ago, I got meeting invites from one of our director - then I was told from now I would directly report to him and Sr. Director. I do not have to deal with the trouble maker any more. He told me that I should not worry about the 10% bad apples - those bad apples existed everywhere.
Recent update: I have new boss now
