sample writing 寫什麽？

請問我在一個公司網上申請 Lab assistant/Research Associate positon.

在upload  resume ,cover letter 後， 還有個 sample writing。

請問這種職位的 sample writing 寫什麽？

不提交sample writing 會有多大影響？
