about strategies to handle such a situation. If I were her, I would have a lawyer negotiate with the company to keep my name on the payroll list in the meantime, get the maternity leave benefits and terminate the employment thereafter. It would be even better if the lawyer can get a severance package in addition to the paid maternity leave for her.
